The #SushiSnackPackKittens were born in late July to a feral mom. Fortunately, their momma, named Cali (California roll), was part of a well-cared-for colony with a dedicated caregiver. She was successfully trapped, and her kittens were brought into care when they were just three days old. We named them Ebi, Tomago, Nori, Miso, and Sake.

Cali raised her kittens in the safety of a warm, secure space until they were 9 weeks old, at which point Cali was spayed and returned to her colony. Throughout their stay, the kittens have exhibited several health issues that are common in cats and kittens living outdoors: exposure to parasites, disease, and poor nutrition, to name a few.

The kittens stayed in our care for an extended period as we went through several rounds of antibiotics, worming treatments, special gastro food, and routine veterinary care.

Throughout this time, the kittens developed into the most gentle, friendly, and well-adjusted kittens, always happily greeting any visitors they met.
