Justice was found sitting alone on the side of the road. Fortunately, the SPCA was able to have her seen immediately by our local vet. She was severely dehydrated, malnourished, with pale gums and weak. Once in our care, we promptly placed her into the incubator to warm up.

Concerned about re feeding syndrome, she was given small meals every few hours. Keeping her in the incubator allowed precise control of the environmental temperature. We administered subcutaneous fluids twice daily to address dehydration. She was dewormed and received Revolution.Over the following days, she showed her enthusiasm for life and her kind, gentle personality. Justice not only persisted, but flourished.

Today she is a sweet young kitten with an amazing purr. Thanks to the SPCA for ensuring her care, she has been adopted by Heather and Brandon. Justice joins their home along with a new feline sibling named Esame.
