Momma Rosie was known as an abandoned pet living in her neighbourhood. Not spayed, she produced litter after litter outside, giving birth for the last time within days of coming into care. Daisy and her three siblings were born in a warm, safe, secure space.

In partnership with the Victoria Pet Adoption Society, momma Rosie and her flower kittens were transferred into our care when they were just days old. The kittens benefited from having a healthy, socialized momma to nurse and care for them while still very young.

As they got older, Salt Spring Cat ensured each kitten benefited from daily enrichment activities, regular nail trims and opportunities to develop their physical and social skill
